Our day trip to Lake Sammamish State Park

We had such a great time at Lake Sammamish yesterday, there was no way I could pick just one picture to share... We arrived around 11:15 or so and got the cars unpacked and the kids played around while we got lunch started. We had hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, asparagus, corn on the cob, zucchini, yellow squash, watermelon, mango, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, lots of chips and crackers...what a feast!! We played in the lake most of the day, but there was also a big playground where the kids played while we grilled up more food for dinner... We got home around 8:00, so we threw everyone in the shower and off to bed! The kids were SO exhausted! We had a really great day and will definitely visit that park again! When I uploaded the pics to Blogger, they were all in the wrong order, but oh well...here is our day of fun with some great friends!

Carson sat here digging and flinging wet sand for a large part of the day, he was happy as a clam! (or maybe he was digging for clams?)
